Available Map products
Two types of maps are provided here. Make-A-Map is an interactive map served into your web browser that allows you to select data layers and imagery, zoom in and out and query data. The Map Archive is a database of many of the maps and map products authored by the LDEQ GIS Center since 1999.

Make-A-Map
The Louisiana Deparment of Environmental Quality has, with the help of ESRI, developed the "Make-A-Map" web application.

With Make-A-Map, you can make and use interactive maps inside your web browser. It allows you to add many types of data layers, including satellite imagery and aerial photography. (more...)

Map Archives
he LDEQ GIS Center has made thousands of maps and other products over the years. Many of these products are archived on a computer system that LDEQ staff may now browse gigabytes of map images and search a database containing details about layers in each map, the map author, customer requesting the (more...)
